We are thrilled to congratulate the Technical University of Crete’s TIE Lab and more specifically, Prof. Kostantinos-Alketas Ouggrinis, Vice-Rector of Research and Innovation, on their remarkable recognition by the US Embassy in Greece for their work with the Greek non-profit organization Mataroa, for the “Tech4Disabilities: Inclusive Design through 3D Printing”<\/strong> project.<\/p>\n

This innovative initiative, powered by open-source designs and 3D printing, is creating assistive devices to improve the lives of people with disabilities. Backed by the US Embassy and delivered through the combined efforts of Mataroa and the TUC TIE Lab, the program is a shining example of how technology can foster inclusivity and accessibility.<\/p>\n

In 2025, the program will expand to three additional cities, continuing its mission to make the world a more accessible and empowering place for all.<\/p>\n
