Our Team
Yannis Troulis is the CEO of TTMI, supporting technology transfer, innovation and marketing of technologies to private, public and social organisations.
He worked with Intermas Consulting Ltd , for 10 years, following his return from Canada in 2000, being involved in technology marketing projects in Greece and Black Sea countries, managing research projects for Greek Research Institutions and companies, supporting technology transfer offices of Research Institutes, as well as supporting the formation of regional and thematic research consortiums and networks and their subsequent activities.
He is involved in regional development projects, SME innovation endeavours and business development support services, business development, industrial marketing, business reorganization, sectoral and spatial development, business plans, international marketing and trade.
During the last 21 years the business sectors with the more intense involvement include: a) ICT Innovation uptake by manufacturing and trading SMEs and Clusters, b) agrifood innovative projects, c) pharmaceutical RD projects for innovative products, d) marine aquaculture development for for the largest Research Centre in Greece, the Hellenic Centre of Marine Research, e) regional/sectoral development support for development institutions (Chambers of Commerce, Municipalities) as well as private businesses.
Previously, he acquired sixteen years of entrepreneurial experience in Canada as founder, owner and general manager of foodstuff international trade/packaging/distribution companies.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in International Finance a minor in International Business from Concordia University, Canada. He has attended courses in Organizational Management within the graduate program of McGill University, Canada and in MBA- Quality Management of Leicester University UK. He holds an MBA from the Open University of Cyprus.
He is presently General Secretary of the Canadian-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and has served for a three-year term, as Greece’s business representative, at the Business Chamber of the Enterprise Policy Group, a policy consulting body of the Direction General (DG) Enterprise and Industry of the European Commission.
Since 2016, he has been teaching Technology Transfer in the Interinstitutional Postgraduate Program in Biobusiness from the University of Thessaly and the National Research Foundation.
With many years of experience as an executive of administrative and financial management and having studied at the Dental School of the National and Kapodistrian
University of Athens, Nour Hamad currently works as a Consultant for TTMI, with a particular focus on technology transfer projects and
development, the support of investment projects and the implementation of European projects for businesses and organizations.
She holds a Cambridge International Diploma in Business Organization and Environment, Effective Business Communication, Marketing, and ICT.
Kostas Ledakis was born and raised in Chania. He studied Business Organization and Management at the Athens University of Economics and Business (ASOEE). He started as an assistant accountant at Vianex S.A. and then worked for a decade as a chartered accountant at Grant Thornton Greece.
Ηe also served as the CEO of Ecosoft SA, Mind Solutions SA, and Financial Deployment Services SA. In 2014 he obtained the license of a real estate broker and founded Real Estate Consulting. In addition, he was the Director of the Chania Development Company (ETAN) for 1 year. He specializes in real estate investments and speaks English and German. In addition, he is an experienced user of computer tools as well as the IDEA program (data processing and control program). Finally, he is a member of SOEL. (Body of Certified Public Accountants).
Panagiotis Papantonopoulos has been practicing as a business consultant since 1990. For the last 10 years, he has been dealing with the identification/evaluation, documentation/patenting and commercialization of cutting-edge technologies, research and academic centers of countries of the former Soviet Union, as well as with the creation of infrastructure (incubators, technological centers, etc.) for the support and development of cutting-edge enterprises mainly within the framework of World Bank and European Union programs.
His consulting experience also includes business restructuring in the context of projects financed by the World Bank (5 years), Project Management Office Organization studies for Greek companies (2 years), investment studies – business plans for the expansion of Greek Companies abroad. He has 12 years of experience working in engineering consulting companies (Canada – Greece) in the defense industry and in high technology companies (Greece – Armenia). He has taught for 3 years as a Full University Professor at the School of Management Studies (UQAM-Montreal) and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Montreal), a Master’s degree in Structural Environmental Design (Montreal), and a degree of Architectural Engineering (Architect).
Elpida Tsitsiridis holds a degree in Economics from the Demokriteio University of Thrace with a postgraduate specialization in Organization and Business Administration from the Technical University of Crete, specifically the Department of Production and Management Engineering. During her studies, she was a member of the Financial Management Laboratory, where she was involved in numerous studies and publications in prestigious international journals and scientific conferences.
As an executive in the banking sector, for more than 6 years she was an analyst of the Risk Management Unit of the Cooperative Bank of Chania. In 2014, he became an adviser to the Mayor on economic issues and development in the Municipality of Chania.
For almost 2 years she served as Deputy Mayor of Chania with responsibilities for Organization and Planning, IT, European etc. Programs and in addition Tourism and Culture.
Since 2021 she has been engaged in business consulting with a particular interest in new investments, market analysis, and risk management.
Othonas Charalambakis is a graduate of the Departments of History and Archeology of the University of Crete (majoring in Ancient and Medieval History) and Communication and Media of Panteion University.
He has significant experience in public administration, having served as a NPDD commander (in NHS Health units) and as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Municipal Public Benefit Enterprise (NPID).
He has also served as an advisor to the Minister at the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, with the main responsibility of participating in the planning and monitoring of the implementation of the agreements of the Greek government and the EU tripartite scheme (troika). – E.K.T.-D.N.T. during the period 2009-2011.
Dr. Nikos Stefanakis is Associate Consultant for Energy, Sustainability and Innovation issues. He graduated from the School of Chemical Engineering of the E.M.P in 2002, while he prepared and completed his Doctoral Thesis at the E.M.P in 2009. Dr. Stefanakis has extensive experience in design, mathematical modeling and process optimization (with an emphasis on solar energy utilization processes).
In the last 20 years he has collaborated with various companies, research centers and universities in a wide range of European and National Research and Development Programs (FP5, FP6, FP7, HORIZON2020, INTERREG, XM-EEA, NSRF) and has participated in more than 40 research and development projects in various roles (coordination, management, scientific contribution, utilization of results).
He has co-authored 14 scientific articles and authored numerous technical/scientific reports and deliverables. He has taught computer programming, solar energy utilization technologies and life cycle analysis in undergraduate and graduate courses.
