🌿 Exciting updates from the Hemp Restart Conference! 🌱
We are proud to be a member of the Project Team in the project “Restarting Hemp Cultivation with Innovative Approaches” with the distinctive title Hemp Restart – a project approved and being implemented within the Rural Development Program (RDP) 2014-2020 (Action 2 – Measure 16) and is co-financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Greek government.
On Wednesday, December 13th, the Agricultural Cooperative of Orchomenos hosted a day of innovation at the Conference Center in Orchomenos. The event showcased innovative approaches to revitalize Industrial Hemp cultivation.
Throughout the conference, members/partners of the Project Team had the chance to present the developments of our project from their perspectives. Following the presentations, an engaging dialogue unfolded between the audience and representatives, delving into crucial topics related to cultivation and product promotion.
In celebration of the conference, a special feature aired on the show and newspaper “YPAITHROS” by journalist Mr. Giannis Sarros on STAR-LAMIAS. Dr. Eleni Tsaliki, an esteemed researcher at the Institute of Plant Breeding and Genetic Resources (IPGRB) of ELGO-DEMETRA and member of the Project Team, provided an in-depth analysis of the program.
Mark your calendars for the 2nd conference in late 2024, where comprehensive conclusions of projects’ entirety will be unveiled. This time, the event will take place in Thessaloniki, promising even more insights and discussions.
